James also highlights some of the challenges he faced as a first-generation college student attending Saginaw Valley State University and the decision that prompted him to relocate to Atlanta where he currently resides. 

James Hill is an entrepreneur and personal development speaker with a passion to inspire, empower and employ. James was born and raised on the east side of Detroit. Raised in poverty, James was driven to pursue his education by  becoming the first person in his family to graduate from college where he attended  Saginaw Valley State University receiving his bachelor degree in communication and marketing. He is currently building his media startup James Hill TV - media services based in Atlanta, Georgia .
